There is a great story behind this double trunk Western Juniper burl root that was found and collected in 2007 on a beach in the Grand Bend Ontario area. This was the very first piece ever collected by founder Steve Pomerleau in the hopes of starting a small business making furniture out of salvaged trees. Fast forward to November of 2013 when Steve was finally executing start-up plans, he came to meet Ron Wismer of Wismer Clydesdales, a local and world renowned breeder of Clydesdale horses. Ron generously donated several pieces out of a firewood pile that would be some of the very first pieces produced by the newly formed FLO Hardwoods. It is only fitting that this one-of-a-kind piece now resides in the home of the Wismer family.
