Grain symmetry was the driving design direction for this commissioned dining table. The three wide matched solid white oak boards were carefully chosen because of their beautifully flowing, linear grain pattern.

Second to the design, durability and flexibility in maintaining the table was very important to the client. All knots and holes in the surface were carefully filled with black epoxy.

The base is steel, tough and textured for durability. The top is 46" x 67" and the finish is an eight layer custom pigment and hand rubbed oil that is very durable and easy to maintain.
