This Black Walnut dining table is a one-of-a-kind fully custom table made from a single 2.25" thick slab that was 14.5” long. The ends of the slab were cut off and used to make the wood base.  Imperfections and holes from the natural process of a tree's lifespan were meticulously filled with black resin to make the surface perfectly smooth and flat.

The base is a mix of modern and industrial design with a little flare of blue resin to fill some rot voids that naturally occur with old trees. This tree was estimated to be 150+ years old.
