This 192 year old Red Oak was salvaged in Amherstburg, Ontario and has been around longer than Canada has been a country. Unfortunately, we were brought in to salvage this giant piece of history after it was already felled and cut into smaller sections, but we still managed to get some great material. These 4 cookies (thin cut log rounds) were cut 5" thick and are part of a series of 32 slabs from this one amazing tree.
